Imagine never having to be dependent on makeup ... eyebrow pencil,
eyeliner, lip liner and lipstick. The concept is wonderful, and it is
being done by thousands of women every day. Permanent makeup may be the
exact solution you have been waiting for.
What is Permanent Cosmetic Makeup? It is a revolutionary new
procedure (also referred to as “micro pigmentation,” “cosmetic tattooing”
or “dermagraphics”) of applying micro insertions of natural pigments into
the dermal layer of the skin. This premier, state-of-the-art technique is
medically developed and specifically designed for a safe, virtually
painless permanent application.
Who Benefits From Permanent Makeup? Everyone - from the
young to the elderly - unless you don't wear makeup or totally look
forward every day to putting your makeup on, enjoy putting it on and have
the time to put it on.
Reasons Why We Have Permanent Makeup!
- Visual Impairment (wear contact lenses or glasses)
- Alopecia Areata or Universalis sufferers who have lost some or all
of their facial hair, including eyebrows and/or eye lashes
- Cancer or Chemotherapy recipients resulting in partial or full hair
loss
- Active Lifestyle ... people who want to look their best throughout
activities such as swimming, tennis, aerobics, biking and don't want to
worry about “sweating off” or reapplying cosmetics
- Unsteady or Arthritic Hands ... Difficulty in Makeup Application
- Asymmetrical Features
- Cosmetic Allergies
- Sparse or Light Eyelashes
- Oily Skin
- A Desire to Always Look Your Best!
Dispelling Some Myths - Is Permanent Makeup Safe? According
to the Center for Disease Control, permanent makeup is very safe. There
have been no incidents of HIV attributable to tattooing, nor has there
been any increase of Hepatitis B in those having permanent makeup, in the
last ten years. (October, 1998)
Can I Have an MRI After I Have Permanent Makeup Applied?
According to Frank Shellock of Tower Imaging in Los Angeles, CA
and UCLA School of Medicine ... a top expert in MRI scanning safety, only
a handful of people have reported minor problems around the eye area and
no problems around the brow or lip area. In those rare instances when
redness and edema in the eye area occurred, it did recede and did not
cause any permanent damage. Test studies have confirmed the iron particles
in the color pigment are too microscopic in size to react as true metal
pieces, but rather are more accurately compared with metal which already
exists microscopically in the body.
Will Permanent Makeup Still Look Good On Me As I Get Older And My
Skin Changes? As long as you look good with correctly applied
makeup, you will look GREAT with permanent makeup! Remember no matter what
age you are, adding color to the brows, lips and around the eyes brings
out a more youthful look. There are women in their 80's who wear just as
much makeup as they did in their 40's. As for the skin changing and making
a difference, this is not a problem, since the elasticity of the skin
doesn't interfere with the color.
PERMANENT COSMETICS PROCEDURES
Eyebrows Eyebrows are the most important feature of the face
and can give the entire face a “lift.” Permanent makeup can improve
eyebrows that are now droopy, uneven, too small, too thin, too short, have
no arch and have thin or partial hair. ...
Eyeliner/Eyelash Enhancement We all want thicker and fuller
eyelashes. These procedures can enhance your eyelashes, make them appear
darker and thicker, eliminate washed-out look and smudges, will enhance
the color of your eyes and make your eyes appear larger. Ophthalmologists
recommend these procedures for those who are allergic to conventional
makeup and for those wearing contact lenses. ...
Lipliner/Full Lip Color You can have fuller looking and more
defined lips without surgery! The permanent makeup procedure for lip liner
is beautiful. It can appear as if to change the size and shape of the
lips, as well as the color. This procedure helps to prevent lipstick from
bleeding into the surrounding skin. It can also camouflage facial lines
surrounding the lips as a result of aging.
The Bottom Line ...
Permanent Makeup is
- a non-surgical procedure
- water-proof
- hassle-free
- always fresh
- smudge-proof
- a time- and money-saver
- a confidence builder for everyone!
