Not all lips are perfectly shaped.

Some individuals are blessed with naturally beautiful features while most of us must rely on makeup, fashion and personal style to enhance our features.  Fortunately, permanent lip color can correct an irregular lip line, make your lips appear fuller, and correct small flaws that may detract from your appearance.

Full Lip Color

Permanently implanted color is always much more natural in appearance than any conventional lipstick.  The lip color also eliminates “color bleeding” where regular lipstick spreads into the small periorbital lines around our lip borders.

With permanent lip applications, Jenice helps enhance or improve the Cupid’s bow.  This area can be too pointed, to flat, uneven, or just nonexistent.  Any shape can be created that is appropriate for your face shape.  If you are wanting full lip color or just lip liner with a blend, Jenice will assist you in choosing a shade that best compliments your skin tone whether it’s a soft pink, coral or a beautiful warm mauve tone.

Permanent lip color does not exclude you from wearing more or less color.  It gives personal freedom and the security of knowing that you never need to apply lip color to complete your facial makeup.  Just a little clear or tinted lip gloss is all you need to make the color pop. African American women should be cautious about seeking permanent lip shading procedures, as their lips may hyper-pigment and turn a muddy brown, even with the most skilled technician.

If you have a history of cold sores, fever blisters, or get lesions on your lips from sun exposure, it is mandatory that you take an anti-viral medication as a preventative measure before any procedures.   These medications, Zovarix, Acyclovir, Famvir, or Valtrex, may be obtained from your family physician.  The medication MUST BE TAKEN TWO DAYS BEFORE THE PROCEDURE, THE DAY OF, AND THE TWO DAYS AFTER THE PROCEDURE.
